In the fourth installment of the story about Gru and his family, Gru faces a new enemy—Maxime Le Mal and his girlfriend Valentina. As a result of this confrontation, Gru and his family, including daughters Margo, Edith, and Agnes, are forced to leave their home and go on the run. The introduction of a new family member, Gru Jr., adds comedic elements to their adventures as he seeks to prank his father. The plot combines elements of animation, family comedy, and science fiction.
