Кошмар зомби, начавшийся в фильме «Ночь живых мертвецов», продолжается. Четверо выживших, спасаясь от мертвецов, приземляются на крышу супермаркета. Внутри они находят не только пищу и укрытие, но и множество проблем. Многоэтажный магазин заполнен ходячими мертвецами. Развлекая себя отстрелом зомби, они не подозревают, что вскоре один из них станет жертвой. Кроме того, на них нападает банда, не различающая живых и мертвых, движимая жаждой насилия.

The nightmare of zombies, which began in the previous film, continues. Four survivors, escaping from the undead, land on the roof of a shopping mall. Inside, they find not only food and shelter but also numerous troubles. The multi-story store is filled with walking corpses. While entertaining themselves by shooting zombies, they remain unaware that one of them will soon become a victim. Additionally, a gang arrives, showing no distinction between the living and the dead, driven by a thirst for violence.
