The Creed family moves to a rural home in Ludlow, Maine, where they discover a sinister pet cemetery hidden in the woods nearby. After their beloved cat dies, Louis decides to bury it in the cemetery, leading to a series of horrifying events that reveal the dangers of disturbing the natural order of life and death. The family must confront the terrifying consequences of their choices as they grapple with the notion that the dead should remain buried.
