In 1962, John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison, and Ringo Starr formed a group that became a musical phenomenon of the 20th century. They conquered Europe in 1963 and America in 1964, changing youth culture and laying the groundwork for the modern entertainment industry. The group recorded numerous successful songs and albums, but in 1966, the pressures of fame led to the cessation of touring. During this time, The Beatles focused on creating albums that transformed the world of recorded music, as seen through interviews, archival footage, and concert performances.
