In 1993, Cameron Post is sent to a conversion therapy center after being caught with another girl. Her conservative aunt and uncle make this decision. At the center, she meets other teens like Jane and Adam. Together, they face the harsh methods of Dr. Lydia Marsh and her brother, Reverend Rick. The group tries to cope with the surrounding intolerance and find support in each other.
