Following the bizarre death of the Earl of Gurney, his title and estate are inherited by his son Jack, who suffers from schizophrenia and believes he is the reincarnation of Jesus Christ. Concerned about Jack's mental state, the other lords devise a plan to strip him of his title and send him to a mental institution. However, their attempts to regain control over the inheritance lead to unexpected and disastrous outcomes.
